We lambed indoors this year because we seem to be experiencing a second winter at the start of April when we start lambing and the snow is make the whole process harder for the newborn lambs. We leave the ewes outside as long as possible before bringing them in to a large straw-bedded barn where we can observe and manage them 24/7 in the dry.
