In January 2018 our 3 new females arrived and at 20 months old they still have quite a bit of growing to do!

They will remain on the lowlands of our farm until they have put some weight on, have settled in to their new surroundings and have got to know and trust us.  We like to give our animals as quiet a life as possible and try not to handle them if not required.  Once these girls have settled in a bit we’ll give them all a thorough health-check before relocating them to our hills where they can join the rest of our fold of Highland Cows, get some good grass in their bellies and we can watch them grow and flourish.  We use our Highland Cows purely for Conservation grazing – we don’t breed from them and they live their entire lives on the farm with us.
