A successful year for lambing and thankfully without the horrendous weather conditions that we had in 2018 with the ‘Beast from the East’.  We have a small flock, however it’s no less hard work for all the team involved, with night shifts and early mornings the norm throughout the lambing season.  We had huge long gaps between the first lot of lambing and the final flurry, which may have been down to the tups needing a break half way…

We had record numbers of triplets this year, with the ewes doing really well with all the incredible grass and mild winter and we were lucky enough to be able to keep all but one set of triplets together.
